Nemetschek Bulgaria was among the participants at the “Digital Transformation in the Construction Industry” Webinar Series (3-23 June), organized by Cobuilder International, ProActivePersonnel, Sofia’s University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, among others.
These international web events focused on the latest BIM (Building Information Modeling) software solutions and the way they’re affecting and speeding up the transformation of the construction industry as a whole.
In his special presentation, held on 17 June, our product manager Kosta Varbanov summed up what BIM is, how it works, what its levels are, as well as what benefits BIM brings – better collaboration and communication trough the project; model based cost, time and material estimation; preconstruction project visualization; improved coordination and clash detection; reduced cost and minimalizing risk, etc.
Additionally, Varbanov elaborated on the software solutions we offer: Vectorworks – BIM design software allowing designers to advance their ideas from concept through completion, Solibri – the leader in BIM quality assurance and quality control; and Bluebeam Revu – creating an unprecedentedly effective bridge between construction and architecture professionals.
Other presenters at the webinars included in2it’s managing director Mario Caputi, coBuilder International’s digital construction researcher Stanislav Dermenjiev and HVH Consulting’s managing partner Hristo Hristozov.
