Our company grew and developed during the toughest possible times – surviving and outliving the dotcom crash, one global economic crisis and a few local ones.
What an amazing journey this has been!

During the 90s South-East Europe was changing. And so was the world.
1998 saw great advances in science and technology, all thanks to companies like our founders – the German software innovators Nemetschek SE. That was the year Nemetschek Bulgaria was established as Nemetschek's regional R&D center with a special focus on FT ® (Future Technology) software solutions for the construction industry. An year later we had already expanded into the fields of document management and automation, among others.
We were among the local founders of the sector, importing international experience and developing South-East European outsourcing business.

The times were beyond dynamic – they were turbulent. The new millennium came with the Dot-com bubble bursting and Europe entering years of recession. Like so many others, Nemetschek SE had to radically cut their expenses and investments – their Sofia R&D center included.
Our CEO George Brashnarov, who was in charge of all local activities up to that moment, stepped in with his bold idea. Believing in the potential of the newly formed company in Sofia and in the support of its German founders, proposed to keep the R&D center in Bulgaria running through a buyout. He became the majority owner, with Nemetschek SE and our long-term partners DocuWare Group (acquired by the Japanese giants Ricoh in 2019) becoming minor shareholders.

It didn’t take too long to see that we had made the right decision.
As a consequence of one smart act and its ambitious following, the company grew and developed. We came to the understanding that dreaming big is as important as acting smart and having the right people for the job.
Empowered by the successful collaboration with software leaders like Nemetschek SE and DocuWare, our team had already become more self-assured and competent, with its knowledge and expertise growing by the day. This was the right moment to define the new goals of the company – to collaborate with more companies on a larger number of projects and products, in order to help them overcome obstacles and come up with better software solutions. And this is what we do – up to this day.

It might sound strange from a commercial perspective, but expanding our business has never been our primary goal. What was more essential to us was constantly developing and providing a fruitful environment for our people to learn, create and innovate. Our growth came naturally through the years, investing in our personal development, in our expertise and company culture. This became one of our most characteristic advantages – companies trusted us as their partners because of our result-driven attitude and the underlined intention to be of assistance in any way possible.
By setting good examples, being role models and engaging in various social or educational initiatives, our company has grown to be a positive force to be reckoned with.
